Final NDA Annual Report high no mail [1-12] - Flipbook - Page 3
In 2023, NDA generated impressive revenue growth. Overall revenue growth increased more than 17% over the prior year.
Key areas of growth included a 45% increase in advertising and sponsorship dollars. Building relationships with key corporate sponsors was the driving force. Grants and federal contracts doubled in 2023. Work on our public land initiative of
improving access, habitat and deer hunting on public lands allowed additional funding leverage for matching grants.
Each year, the NDA promises to spend at least 80 percent of all funds raised on our conservation mission. We met that goal
again in 2023, with 85 percent of our expenses going toward ensuring the future of wild deer, wildlife habitat and hunting.
One of our 昀椀nancial strategic initiatives is to diversify funding sources to strengthen the organization’s 昀椀nancial health. In
2023, NDA takes pride in its diverse revenue portfolio, no more than a third of any funding is coming from a single source.
